Belarus denounces mining of common border by Ukrainian troops

Minsk, Nov 12 (Prensa Latina) The Belarusian State Border Committee denounced that the Ukrainian army continues mining the territory next to the common border.

Ukrainian troops are also destroying access roads and infrastructure facilities near checkpoints, and laying minefields on vacant lands, the GPC television channel reported on Saturday.

Anatoly Lappo, chairman of the Belarusian State Commission for Civil Procedure, said early in October, that Ukraine had focused on increasing its military presence on the state border.

In addition, Lappo reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces blew up almost all the border bridges and mined the roads linking the two countries.

Since last February 24th, when Russia launched the special military operation, Ukraine has accused Belarus time after time of participating in the conflict, which has been repeatedly denied by the Belarusian authorities.
