In the remote village of Tel Masse in Aleppo province, some 400 kilometers north of this capital, the soldiers of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Belligerent Parties and Refugee Migration Control of Syria distributed about three tons of food to the neediest and vulnerable families, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
Each of the 300 baskets delivered includes 10 kg of foodstuffs such as bread flour, rice, tea, condensed milk and vegetable oil.
This ministry noted that the village chosen for this humanitarian action is located more than 100 kms from the city of Aleppo and has been the most affected in this war.
Mayor of Tel Masse, Ahmed Mansi, thanked the Russian people for their help, something that reflects true friendship.
According to Moscow, more than 3,500 humanitarian aid operations have been carried out since 2015, during which about 600,000 tons of food, medicines and basic products have been delivered.
