Students will be tested in Spanish, History of Cuba, and Mathematics. The latter is the first subject in the exam’ s calendar and it is ongoing in written form today.

According to data provided by the Ministry of Higher Education, passing with a minimum of 60 points to obtain a place for higher education will not be mandatory.

Priority is for those students in vulnerable situations and those directly involved in the country’s defense.

A second call will be on January 9, 11, and 13, 2023, for justified cases that did not test in the first call.

Due to the impact of Covid-19, the school year for higher education has had changes in its calendar. The academic course starts immediately after concluding the granting process on March 21, 2023, for those who obtain their place in the university.
