Local media reported in Luanda on the president’s speech, in which he emphasized the importance that the government grants to foreign direct investment (FDI) in order to diversify the economy and boost technological modernization.
The business event was part of Lourenço’s two-day visit to Norway, where he will hold separate meetings with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and King Harald.
In his speech, Angop reported, the head of State highlighted the approval of a new private investment law, as well as the total or partial sales of public assets in different sectors, including oil and telecommunications.
