The military spokesman stated that the Ukrainian units lost more than 100 fighters as a result of their unsuccessful attempts to prevent the Russian Army’s advance in Donetsk and were forced to retreat back to their initial lines.

Meanwhile, in Krasny Liman, the Russian Armed Forces foiled a Ukrainian attack on the town of Chervonopopovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic and dispersed the enemy, Konashenkov pointed out.

The spokesman said that the Russian military used high-precision weapons to attack military command and control, the military-industrial system, and the energy infrastructure facilities of Ukraine.

Konashenkov emphasized that Russia hit all its targets, in particular, facilities for the manufacture of missiles and an arsenal with artillery ammunition provided by Western countries were destroyed.
