Kim Yo Jong, deputy head of the department of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), was referring to a statement by the U.S., U.K., France, Australia, Japan and South Korea at the end of a meeting of the international body, prompted by Washington to sanction the DPRK’s response to increased military threats.
Kim Yo Jong Il called the new actions within the UN Security Council a violation of his country’s sovereignty and a serious political provocation.
At Washington’s instigation, the international body held an open meeting on November 21 at which it questioned the DPRK’s test launch of the new ‘Hwasongpho-17’ ICBM, the official explained in a note released by the ACNC news agency.
She assured that her country will defend national security and will confront until the last consequences, whoever tries to censor this right.
She also warned the U.S. of the fatal consequences it could face if it continues its hostile actions against the DPRK.
