He added that so many want to attend it because they are happy about the fight against corruption. Millions will come to celebrate that Mexico is not the same as in times of the oligarchy as there is authentic democracy in this country because the budget is truly public and is not hoarded by a few. It is distributed with justice and is enough for all.
Not everyone can come because they are too many: 11 million senior citizens who receive pensions; 2.3 million young people who work as apprentices; 11 million students with scholarships; 450,000 sowers who receive wages to sow their plots and plant fruit and timber trees, he said.
The Mexican president added that two million farmers who receive direct assistance; 200,000 fishermen; relatives of students of 110,000 schools, where parents’ associations have received funds to maintain them; 21.7 million workers with an average salary of 15,000 pesos (750 dollars) want to come.
It will also be attended by businesspeople and financiers that can invest and will celebrate that the stock exchange index rose by 20 percent and the Mexican peso is the strongest currency against the dollar in the world, and millions have benefited from great works that have improved social welfare.
Lopez Obrador added that because they are so many, they will have to be well prepared as it is a party, regardless of the presence of killjoys, as always, so everything has to do with Mexico’s transformation, something unseen.
One of the things they will celebrate is that they live in a free country. The most outstanding and famous far-right politicians of the world have come to Mexico to meet, and no one here has prevented them from doing so. No one has told them anything.
