Employees, including operators, signed labor agreements with the new employer, with much higher salaries than in their previous contracts with the Ukrainian company Energoatom, the Energodar government stressed.
In addition, residents of the aforementioned city and workers of the power plant, among others, are obtaining Russian citizenship passports, the entity noted on its Telegram channel.
Energodar authorities also noted that the operational safety of the plant is fully ensured at the moment and that contrary to Ukrainian media falsehoods, the plant remains under Russian control.
The Zaporozhie nuclear power plant is the largest of such facility in Europe.
Russia took control of it on February 28th, during the first days of its special military operation in Ukraine.
