In a statement, the Latin American and Caribbean multilateral integration organization called for compliance with the relevant United Nations resolutions and demanded those who perpetuate the occupation cease those actions and respect international law.
On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the ALBA-TCP reaffirmed that the only solution acceptable to the international community is the establishment of two States on the pre-1967 borders and with East Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Palestine.
The ALBA-TCP Executive Secretariat extended its solidarity to the victims of the attacks and their relatives, condemned violence, and, based on its deep vocation for peace, called on the UN to adopt urgent measures to promote a peaceful, comprehensive, just, and long-lasting solution to this conflict.
