Speaking at the Berlin Security Conference, Salay-Bobrovnicki noted that it is necessary to return to negotiations between the parties as soon as possible in order to solve the conflict.

According to the minister, the reason for this position is the protection of the Hungarian national minority.

At the same time, we are seriously concerned about the possibility of further escalation, he added.

Salay-Bobrovnitsky noted that it is necessary to prevent the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) from becoming a direct party of the conflict in Ukraine.

He also called for an early return to the negotiating table, stating that talks save lives.
