In an interview with the IRNA news agency, the parliamentarian referred to the recent resolution passed by the United Nations Board of Governors against Iran and warned that Tehran will not take backward steps on the nuclear issue.
However, he pointed out that they are open to negotiations to reduce the production of enriched uranium. ‘Any extravagance by the United States on the Iranian nuclear industry will lead to the progress of the Islamic Republic,’ he noted.
The stance of the countries that passed the resolution against Iran is clear, the lawmaker said, but on our part, we will not cooperate with the politicized mission of the Human Rights Council, as the riots were engineered by the West.
The MP added that if Washington and its allies try to pressure Iran on the nuclear issue, they will get opposite results.
