Hosted by the Provincial Grain Enterprise, the workshop is given by Vietnamese specialists, with the participation of experts from Cienfuegos, Mayabeque, and Matanzas provinces under the premise of promoting technological growth and higher productivity of crops.

According to the website www.radio26.cu, the head of the regional group of the Vietnam-Cuba project, Tu Pham Ngoc explained that the main objective of the meeting is to prove the efficacy of the work in rice cultivation based on the solution of problems and the application of the results.

Exchanging experiences and supporting the growth of the rice agro-industry in Cuba are aspects of the workshop that demonstrate the excellent state of ties between the two countries after more than 60 years of diplomatic relations.
