Lazo, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba, will later meet with Mustafa Sentop, president of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye in order to strengthen parliamentary ties and consolidate bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest, Cubaminrex reported.
Upon his arrival in Ankara, Lazo said that his visit was aimed at expanding exchanges and cooperation in strategic sectors of mutual interest.
The Cuban senior official is accompanied by Yolanda Ferrer Gomez, head of the International Affairs Commission of the National Assembly and Cuban Ambassador to Türkiye Alejandro Diaz Palacios.
