An important issue is the implementation of the trilateral agreements by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia, which were reached at the summits in November 2020, January, and November 2021. The latter was held in October in Sochi, Lavrov said.
We are interested in unblocking transport communications, delimiting the border, concluding a peace treaty, and strengthening confidence-building measures, including contacts between civic organizations, political scientists, and parliamentarians, the head of Russian diplomacy noted.
In addition, Lavrov stressed that the parties will discuss interaction in the region and in multilateral structures.
Cooperation in the region, Caspian Sea issues, contacts at the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and other processes in our common space are always on our agenda, Lavrov added.
