Vietnam after mutually beneficial collaboration with the Netherlands

Hanoi, Dec 12 (Prensa Latina) Vietnam expressed its determination to take cooperative relations with the Netherlands from a development partnership, in the past, to a future mutually beneficial collaboration.

The course of bilateral ties was exposed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh during talks with Dutch business representatives, to whom he explained the interest in the construction of seaports, to turn Vietnam into an international logistic and merchandise transshipment center.

The VNA news agency also reported that, Minh Chinh, assured his interlocutors that Vietnam is making efforts to improve the training of human resources and in this regard has called on Dutch companies to strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese universities.

On his second day of stay in the Netherlands, the Vietnamese head of government, likewise, spoke with the president of the Confederation of Industry and Employers, Ingrid Thijssen.

During the meeting, the visitor expressed the desire that this entity remain building bridges of connection to promote Dutch investments, especially in the fields of high technology, innovation, digital transformation, green and clean energy, sustainable agriculture, infrastructure and logistics with high added value.

He recalled that the Netherlands is the largest investor of the European Union (EU) in Vietnam and ranks eighth among 141 nations with operations in the country, having 409 valid projects valued at 13.7 billion dollars.

The Vietnamese government, he assured, is committed, without variation, in creating favorable conditions and actively supporting Dutch companies so that they may trust and invest in the country for long terms.
