Ethiopian Prime Minister Receives Award for Green Initiative

The Fana Broadcasting Corporate company, the ETV television station and the Ethiopian News Agency, among others, praised the award, presented by the American Academy of Achievement and the Global Hope Coalition in Washington DC.

Green Legacy is a program, intended to regenerate flora, launched in 2019 with the purpose of fighting the consequences of climate change, through which 25 billion plants were planted until 2022.

Precisely for this reason, Ethiopia and Ahmed have already received congratulations from other global and regional organizations, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.

Ahmed heads the Ethiopian delegation attending the Summit of Leaders of the United States and Africa, scheduled from this Monday until next Thursday in Washington.

The American Academy of Achievement is an educational organization that recognizes the highest achievers in various sectors and Global Hope Coalition, an entity dedicated to provide humanitarian assistance in case of disasters.
