The participants in the demonstration will march from the headquarters of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to the Ministry of Justice and Security of this city.

As announced, the members of the FdT will denounce the participation of the head of the latter institution, Marcelo D’ Alessandro, and the Attorney General Juan Bautista Mahiques in a private plane trip to Lago Escondido, in the province of Río Negro, where they spent a weekend in a mansion of the British businessman, Joe Lewis.

Both were accompanied by judges, businessmen, former officials and former agents of the Federal Intelligence Agency, and are also accused of failing to fulfill their duties.

On the 7th of this month, the Government of President Alberto Fernandez filed a criminal complaint with the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of Bariloche and demanded that the facts related to flight 26917 of the Flyzar company be analyzed, as well as those related to its financing.

In case it is confirmed that the activities of the officers were not financed by them, but by private parties (such as Grupo Clarin), we would be in front of several crimes that the Public Prosecutor’s Office has the duty to investigate and punish, pursuant to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, explained the document submitted to that instance.

The FdT deputies in this city considered inadmissible that D’ Alessandro and Mahiques continue in their positions after being exposed in their direct participation in an event of enormous institutional seriousness in which they failed to comply with the Public Integrity Law sanctioned in 2020.
