During the day, 13 patients were discharged, so the total number of recovered people is 1,102,960.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,111,625 cases have been reported, while the death toll remains at 8,530.

This favorable epidemiological outcome results from the staggered vaccination campaign against Covid-19 since Cuba has administered 42,620,631 doses of its homegrown Soberana 02, Soberana Plus, and Abdala vaccines.

According to the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), 90.3 percent of the Cuban population has received the full vaccination schedule, while 8,666,322 people have received booster doses.
