The French delegation is headed by the PCF National Secretary Fabien Roussel, and is also made up of Senator for the Bouches-du-Rhône Department Jérémi Bacchi, Occitania Regional Advisor Pierre Lacazze and officials Charlotte Balavoine and Lina Sankari.

According to PCC´s official website, the French delegation arrived in Havana on Saturday and was welcomed by Angel Arzuaga Reyes, deputy head and coordinator of PCC´s Foreign Affairs Department.

Both leaders agreed upon the willingness to strengthen bilateral relations, solidarity and the condemnation of the tightened economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. government on Cuba.

Media reported that PCF´s work agenda includes several working meetings and visits to places of historic, scientific and cultural interest.
