A survey by that institution, commissioned by the organization Malteser International, added that nearly 50 percent of Germans are afraid of supply bottlenecks (48 percent).
In addition, poverty and loneliness are advancing in the eyes of many citizens.
Eighty-six percent of respondents said that hardships will increase in Germany due to crises in society.
Meanwhile, 75 percent think that loneliness will also increase.
Sixty-three percent of people pointed to this indicator as increasing, as they think that many people are ashamed of being poor and that this causes them to stay away from society.
Thirty percent of respondents also indicated that they feel more lonely than before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, for more than 50 percent of Germans the feeling of helplessness remains stable.
