Orban made these statements while speaking at a press conference in Budapest focused on the 2022 results.
Europe, said the Hungarian head of government, has already plunged enough into the war in Ukraine, considering that the countries of the community have gone too far headlong into the hostilities by training soldiers and supplying weapons to Ukraine.
According to Orban, the existence of an independent and sovereign Ukraine is in Hungary’s interest, but it is not his intention to separate the Russian economy from Europe. Hungarian authorities have repeatedly called for peace talks to solve the Ukrainian conflict.
At present, Budapest does not provide military assistance to Kiev, but provides support for refugees from Ukraine.
