In a letter addressed to the general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), Kim Jong-un, the Venezuelan president predicted victory for the Asian country in its struggle against what he described as the main enemy of humanity.

Maduro expressed his deep sorrow, to the chairman of State Affairs and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the death of leader Kim Jong-il, considered the eternal Chairman of the National Defense Commission.

He underscored that his government commends the exploits of the Korean leader and stressed his tireless work in strengthening and developing the WPK, the accomplishment of the socialist cause and the reunification of the Korean nation.

The Venezuelan head of State emphasized on the importance of Kim Jong-il’s classic works in which he demonstrated the possibility of building a socialist system amid the arbitrariness and attempted isolation of the imperialist forces. jrr/arm/jf/lrd.
