During a political-cultural event at the Cuban embassy in Paris, Cubans acknowledged compatriots´ resistance ahead of a 2022 year full of challenges and difficulties.

Cuban ambassador to France Otto Vaillant stressed how important is to be united to face challenges, both past and future, and to work alongside the Cuban people.

Vaillant and the Cuban ambassador to UNESCO Yahima Esquivel heaped praise on diplomatic missions´ work done in 2022, while expressing their confidence in the capacity of Cubans to overcome difficulties.

During the event, participants strongly condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for more than 60 years and championed Cuba’s right to build under respect for its independence.
