Cuba reports 18 new cases of Covid-19

Havana, Jan 6 (Prensa Latina) Cuba today reported 18 new cases of Covid-19, no deaths from the disease and 93 people suffering from it. During the day, 17 medical discharges were granted and the total number of recovered is one million 103 thousand 424, and since the start of the pandemic, in March 2020, one million 112 thousand 106 cases were reported, while the total number of deaths remains the same in 8,530.

According to the Ministry of Public Health, 90.3 percent of the Cuban population have the full vaccination schedule, while eight million 676 thousand 294 people have booster doses.

According to data from the National Office of Statistics and Information, at the end of March last year, the population of the largest of the Antilles was 11 million 105 thousand 814 inhabitants.
