No deaths were reported. The 28 new infections were detected through the processing of 1,228 samples for surveillance, for an accumulated total of 14,279,776 samples analyzed.

Except for the provinces of Pinar del Rio, Mayabeque, Cienfuegos and Granma and the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud, the rest of the country reported new cases of Covid-19.

Until the 5th of this month, 42 768 201 doses of the Cuban vaccines Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala had been given in Cuba, which speaks of the favorable epidemiological situation the country is maintaining.
