On Sunday, hundreds of Bolsonaro´s supporters stormed the National Congress, the Presidency and the Supreme Court of Justice, calling for a military intervention to overthrow President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who took office on January 1.
The rioters broke into security barricades, smashed doors and windows, and took parts and roofs of the Planalto Palace.
