This was a process that marked the beginning of a new stage of popular construction of the Democratic and Cultural Revolution, which ‘continues under the leadership of brother @LuchoXBolivia’, Maduro wrote in Twitter.
During the inauguration of his second term as president on January 22, 2010, the leader of indigenous descent said that the colonial state was dead and with it the plurinational, autonomous and solidarity state was born, he said.
The current Bolivian Constitution establishes in its article one that from that date the country ceased to be a Republic to become a Plurinational, communitarian, free, independent, sovereign, democratic, intercultural and autonomous Unitary Social State under the rule of law.
To commemorate the date, an ancestral ceremony of thanks to Pachamama, a message to the nation from President Luis Arce and a massive parade through the central avenues of La Paz, among other activities, are planned for Sunday.
