Over 507,000 bivalent Covid-19 vaccine to be sent to Costa Rica

San Jose, Jan 23 (Prensa Latina) Some 507,400 bivalent Covid-19 vaccine doses will be received in Costa Rica for being administered in the first and second quarters of this year, the Health Ministry reported Monday.

The Health Ministry detailed these doses were expected to arrive in the third and fourth quarters of 2023, but the National Commission of Vaccination and Epidemiology (CNVE) agreed to pass a new bivalent vaccine frequency for adults.

CNVE’s call responded to a greater availability for those who want to get a booster, said the Ministry of Health.
