Venezuela and Cuba will always be united, Maduro assured

Caracas, Jan 26 (Prensa Latina) President Nicolás Maduro assured that Venezuela and Cuba will always be united by noble objectives.

We are aimed at strengthening alliances with brotherly countries to continue working with greater strength for a world of equality, justice and respect, the ruler expressed on his Twitter account.

The day before, Maduro held a working meeting in the state of La Guaira with his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel, who made a stopover from Argentina, where he participated in the VII Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac).

The presidents reaffirmed in the meeting their commitment to defend a world of peace and cooperation in favor of international solidarity, the Presidency informed.

Participating in the dialogue were National Assembly Deputy Cilia Flores, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca and Cuban Ambassador to Venezuela, Dagoberto Rodríguez.

The Venezuelan president described the meeting on the social network as pleasant and productive.

It was a meeting to analyze the struggles of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, and strengthen the historical and revolutionary ties that unite us.

Also this Thursday on Twitter, Díaz-Canel valued as very profitable the meeting he held with his Venezuelan counterpart.

He noted that the meeting allowed to note the level of relations and deepen those ties.
