On its Twitter account, the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) referred to a communiqué approved in the context of the 7th Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, recently.
They also agreed to join their efforts in identifying converging areas that lead to regional strategies, identifying cooperation mechanisms and strengthening their ties.
All of this aims to consolidate alliances in favor of Latin America and the Caribbean, within the framework of the mandates of their respective memberships.
The secretaries of the Latin American Economic System, the Association of Caribbean States, the Andean Community, the Latin American Integration Association, the Community of Caribbean States and the Southern Common Market signed the text as observers.
The document was also penned by the pro tempore presidency of Celac and ALBA-TCP, according to the press release.
The above provided the monitoring of the work of the Forum entitled ‘Responding to the challenges of integration for the development of Latin America and the Caribbean.’
