Russia attacked Ukrainian defense energy facilities

Moscow, Jan 27 (Prensa Latina) The Russian Army launched a mass air strike on Ukraine's energy and transport facilities, Defense Ministry Spokesperson Igor Konashenkov informed on Friday.

The spokesman stated that all targets were hit in the attack and, the delivery of weapons and ammunition to combat zones, including those supplied by North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) member countries, was disrupted.

The Russian units of the Eastern Military District continue their offensive in the southern areas of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia, where more favorable lines are taken, Konashenkov stated.

He pointed out that the total losses of Ukraine’s Armed Forces in those areas during the day consisted of 65 soldiers, one tank, two armored combat vehicles, one D-20 howitzer, three vehicles, and two US-made AN/TPQ-37 counter-battery radar stations.

Konashenkov added that Ukrainian troops lost 40 men, one US-made M777 howitzer and one artillery ammunition depot in the Krasny Liman region.
