As reported by the office of the Turkmen President on Monday, during the meeting, Volodin stressed the importance of developing the parliamentary sphere to legally guarantee the decisions approved by the authorities of the two states.

It was reported that the Russian official will meet with the head of the Turkmen Parliament, Gulshat Mamedova, and then will deliver a speech before lawmakers.

The Russian Duma delegation, headed by Volodin, is on an official visit to Turkmenistan on January 29-30.
