Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Mao Ning regretted the deaths of 100 hundred people during the incident, extended condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
She also expressed Beijing’s support for Pakistan in combating terrorist actions, defending its national stability and protecting the lives of its people.
Apart from China, other governments and world organizations spoke out against the suicide attack in Peshawar on Monday and as a result of which more than 100 people were wounded.
The banned terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack, which took place inside the temple.
