According to a statement released in the capital after the meeting, both sides are convinced that the international community should do everything possible to stop the armed conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible and achieve its peaceful settlement.
The head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry arrived in Budapest at the invitation of his colleague Peter Szijjártó and was received by the Hungarian Prime Minister, reported the MTI news agency.
In addition, during the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen Hungary-Türkiye relations.
According to the Magyar prime minister, Hungary is striving for bilateral trade to reach the level of six billion dollars a year.
