In his usual press briefing on Tuesday, the spokesman added that in the Donetsk fighting zone, the Russian army eliminated up to 50 soldiers and destroyed a French Caesar self-propelled artillery system, a US-made M-777 howitzer and an Msta-B howitzer.

In the Kupiansk direction, the artillery of the Western Group attacked the 114th and 103rd Ukrainian territorial defense brigades, resulting in 45 casualties and the elimination of a tank, four armored vehicles, a vehicle and a D-20 howitzer, the military spokesman pointed out.

While in the Krasny Liman region the 25th and 95th Airborne Brigades of the Ukrainian army were hit by artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems of the Russian forces, losing more than 60 soldiers and four combat vehicles, Konashenkov noted.

Units of the Vostok Group defeated near the locality of Ugledar the Ukrainian 72nd mechanized brigade and attacked units of the 110th Territorial Defense Brigade causing it more than 40 casualties and the loss of a tank, two armored vehicles and two pickup trucks, he added.

Konashenkov added that the defense assets shot down a Ukrainian Air Force Mi-8 helicopter near the locality of Zolotaya Balka in Kherson region and also destroyed five UAVs in Lugansk and Kherson.

In addition, three U.S.-made Himars multiple rocket launcher shells were intercepted near the localities of Zlatoostovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Skadovsk in the Kherson region, the spokesman said.

Finally Konashenkov reported that two depots with artillery ammunition were eliminated in the Ugledar and Katerinovka areas of Donetsk, as well as two Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems, and two Ukrainian army ammunition depots in the Kherson region.
