Cubans in Argentina support their people and denounce US blockade (+Photos)

Buenos Aires, Feb 6 (Prensa Latina) All over the world there are Cubans who love their homeland and condemn the genocidal and cruel blockade imposed by the United States, the president of the Union of Cuban Residents in Argentina (URCA), Alexander Catala, stressed on Monday.

In statements to Prensa Latina, he assured that the Cuban people are not alone, and highlighted the promotion of initiatives such as the shipment of medicines donated by that organization, Ile Tuntun Argentina, Mambisa Viajes, the Union of Women with Cuba and others groups that are members of the Solidarity Movement here.

Several packages, including analgesics, antihistamines and diuretics, among other drugs, will be delivered on Monday to the Arnaldo Milian Clinical Surgical Hospital in the Cuban central province of Villa Clara.

It is our grain of sand and it is worth because we know the vicissitudes that our people are going through due to the economic, commercial and financial blockade that the US Government has imposed on Cuba for more than 60 years, Catala said.

In addition, he explained that this shipment is added to others of needles and syringes to administer the homegrown vaccines created by Cuban scientists during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is teamwork. We put our hearts into this gesture of love and supportive help to our brothers. We thank our Argentinean friends who made this possible. We will be together in every fight we undertake, he affirmed.
