Dominican Rep. reports four diphtheria cases

Santo Domingo, Feb 9 (Prensa Latina) Dominican Health Ministry on Thursday reported four cases of diphtheria and one death.

According to health authorities, the cases (Haitians who were not vaccinated) were confirmed in Barahona province.

The Dominican Republic has reported 18 diphtheria cases and 12 deaths in 2021, according to the General Epidemiology Directorate.
