With a projection for the year 2023 to build a thousand houses, the province implements mechanisms in which enterprises of the territory are key to make up for the lack of certain materials.
According to the construction coordinator of the provincial government, Hidovaldo Díaz, the linking of the construction materials industry of the territory with entities such as the Gardis Business Group allows the manufacturing of carpentry with local wood in response to the indications of achieving greater efficiency.
The enterprises, whether private or state, and with emphasis on micro, small or medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Matanzas favor the fulfillment of housing plans in municipalities, which although still insufficient, shows progress, he said.
Diaz added that postponements in the execution of subsidies, measures are implemented that allow builders to execute the budget that the state provided to the financed family in order to reduce time in the manufacture of the necessary structures to build a home.
The coordinator pointed out that in spite of the shortages, alternatives are constantly being sought that require a smaller amount of materials such as steel, and for this reason the execution of vault structures in the ridge roof makes it possible to maintain the productive rhythms in the Housing Program.
Implemented for four years, the Housing Program in Cuba is one of the nation’s priority policies with the purpose of promoting the maximum use of resources in each municipality and province for the benefit of the population. ef/arm/mem/ads.
