Russia announces liberation of Dvurechnoye village in Kharkov

Moscow, Feb 10 (Prensa Latina) The units of the Western Group of the Russian Armed Forces completely liberated the village of Dvurechnoye, in the Kharkov region, the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, announced.

The spokesman also said that as part of the offensive in the Donetsk region, his country’s army eliminated up to 125 Ukrainian servicemen in the last day, and destroyed two tanks, three armored vehicles, five cars, a D-30 howitzer and a Grad multiple rocket launcher.

Konashenkov added that it also disabled two ammunition depots and missile and artillery armament of the enemy Armed Forces in the Slaviansk and Avdeyevka areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

While in the Krasny Liman direction the aviation and artillery caused more than 100 casualties among the Ukrainian formations and knocked out a facility of Grad multiple launch rocket systems and a radar station, the military spokesman pointed out.

Meanwhile in the southern direction of Donetsk the Russian units eliminated more than 60 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and three US-made M777 artillery systems, while they also destroyed two ammunition depots, Konashenkov added.

For its part, the Southern Troops group neutralized 60 troops, one Msta-B howitzer and two D-30 howitzers, as well as an artillery ammunition depot in the Kherson area, the Defense Ministry spokesman announced.

The senior military officer noted that Russian Aerospace Forces fighters shot down an Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter in the Zaporozhie region.
