Maximiliano-Smeriglio-500x342
Havana, Feb 20 (Prensa Latina) Cuba has the right to live free, with no violence from the US government, said MEP Maximiliano Smeriglio, during his visit to the Quisicuaba Project.

After touring the center, located in the Los Sitios district of Centro Habana municipality in Havana, Smeriglio stated Cuba is his heart, “because it is an experience of humanity”.

He claimed that Quiscuaba is an experience of religious, social and cultural syncretism; while showing admiration for the over 30 social programs developed by the Quiscuaba Project.

Smeriglio visited the Quiscuaba museum, the only one of its kind in Cuba, and was acquainted with the center´s social dining room that serves inhabitants of all the municipality´s popular councils.

Maximiliano Smeriglio met with some of the Hermanos Ameijeiras School of Trades, sponsored by Quisicuaba, and was deeply interested in the workshops they teach to acquire skills.

He described his visit to Cuba as quite important to know and explain how the Cuban people live.
