This batch includes food and medicine for our Syrian brothers and sisters, the chargé d’affaires of the Egyptian Embassy in Damascus Mahmoud Omar said, while praising the Syria-Egypt strong relations and stressing the need to stand in solidarity with the brotherly Syrian people.

According to the Head of the Latakia Provincial Council Tayseer Habib, Egypt´s donation was handed over to the High Relief Committee and will be distributed to those who really need it.

Our deep gratitude to the Egyptian people and government for such an initiative to heal the wounds of the Syrians in this ordeal, Mahmoud Omar stated.
