Argentina’s FM to inaugurate embassy in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Feb 27 (Prensa Latina) The Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of Argentina, Santiago Andres Cafiero, arrived today in Bangladesh on a three-day official visit during which he will inaugurate the Buenos Aires embassy in Dhaka.

The Argentine chief diplomat was received by Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

This is the first time a foreign minister from Argentina visits Bangladesh and Momen will host a dinner in his honor after bilateral talks.

Cafiero is expected to discuss trade and investment issues in Dhaka and also visit Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi during his visit.
