According to the official, the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) apparently targeted a civilian infrastructure, which was not damaged, nor was there any casualties or damage on the ground.
The Russian Federal Security Service and other relevant authorities are investigating the event, but it can be stated that there are no threats to the safety of residents, Vorobyov wrote on his Telegram channel.
For its part, the Energy Ministry explained that there was no emergency in connection with the drone crash, although a station belonging to the Gazprom consortium is located nearby, and regional gas distribution networks are operating normally.
In turn, law enforcement agencies stated that the drone turned out to be foreign, as the downed UAV was not part of the equipment of Russian units.
