Venezuela rejects extension of US Executive Order 13962

Caracas, Mar 2 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela on Thursday forcefully rejected the extension of Executive Order 13962 of March 8, 2015, imposed by Joe Biden´s administration, which continues the criminal aggression policy towards the Venezuelan people.

A Government statement further condemned the unfounded assertion that the Bolivarian Republic represents some kind of threat against the United States, when it is evident that the South American nation has faced a great number of challenges, blackmails, aggressions and attacks that violate human rights.

The statement expressed that, with this erratic policy extension, a government that boasts of championing human rights and democracy principles does nothing but “reveal, once again, its authoritarian, cruel and lying character”.

The Bolivarian Government conducts its international relations under the principles of solidarity among peoples and diplomacy of peace.

Venezuela could never be termed as a threat, in view of its commitment to regional stability, peaceful resolution of conflicts and cooperation and complementarity relations.

Venezuela’s sovereignty is unshakable and that no aggression, no matter how great, will bend Venezuelans´ democratic will.
