On its Twitter account, the Foreign Ministry ratified Cuba’s will to continue to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite both countries.

Bulgaria celebrates its National Holiday on March 3 to commemorate the liberation from Ottoman rule.

Cuba and Bulgaria established diplomatic relations on October 14, 1960. Since then, they have strengthened their commercial ties, mainly in the spheres of the food, agricultural, light, mechanical, mining, and tourist industries.
