After stealthily moving to the launching position, the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky submarine launched a Kalibr at the Siurkum missile range, more than a thousand kilometers away, in Russia’s Khabarovsk region.

A video released by the Pacific Fleet shows the missile impacting a few meters from the target marked by a yellow flag.

Access to the launch area was restricted by naval aviation, drones and Pacific Fleet ships to guarantee the safety of navigation.
