Headed by Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca, the delegation met with with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of India, Rakjumar Singh.
During the meeting, they reviewed the progress of bilateral economic cooperation, especially credits for renewable energy projects, Malmierca explained on his Twitter account.
The Indian minister ratified his support for Cuba’s pro tempore presidency of the Group of 77+China.
Malmierca also met with the Chinese delegation to the 5th Conference to promote projects for the benefit of the G+77 member countries, and at the bilateral level, and reviewed the excellent state of relations in all areas.
The LDC Conference, which will take place until March 9 in the capital of Qatar, is being attended by presidents and ministers from 33 African countries and 12 Asia-Pacific nations, Haiti and Cuba.
The meeting is a unique opportunity to accelerate sustainable development in places where international aid is most needed, and to take advantage of the full potential of the least developed countries by helping them advance on the way to prosperity.
