After his meeting the day before with women and young people of this territory of the central province of Villa Clara, Díaz-Canel called to be concerned and take care whenever there is a woman at disadvantage.
Together with the other candidates for deputies of that municipality, he talked with housewives, workers and retired women about what the emancipation works of the Revolution has meant, but also that they cannot be satisfied with what have been achieved, they have to keep moving forward.
She stressed that in the Caribbean nation, the Constitution, the Penal Code, the Family Code and the National Program for the Advancement of Women, define the political will of the Government, in defending the rights of Cuban women and the condemnation of any violence against them.
This Friday, the candidates will continue touring different territories of the country with the purpose of getting to know the potentialities of each locality and for the inhabitants to know better for whom they will vote in the national elections of next March 26.
