In the process of completing procedures to enter Vietnam on March 7 and 8, narcotics were detected in luggage carried in some cars, the news agency added.

As a result of the investigation, the forces arrested a person on Thursday in connection with drugs transported in a vehicle from Laos to Vietnam in Phu Loc district, in neighboring Thua Thien Hue province.

At the same time, about 2.1 kilograms of methamphetamine, three kilograms of ketamine, and 1.4 kilograms of other synthetic drugs carried in cars were seized.
