The Russian side is represented by the Northern Fleet warship made up of frigate Admiral of the Gorshkov Fleet and the oil tanker Kama, the Defense Ministry reported.
During the first phase, naval officers from the three countries will work together for practical drills at sea and to hold briefings and tactical strategies.
The Security Bond-2023 will be held March 16 and 17. Participants will practice the formation of an international squadron of warships, conduct joint maneuvers and artillery firing day and night.
“A detachment of the Northern Fleet warships will practice joint exercises with the PLA destroyer Nanjing, frigates Sahand and Jamaran, corvette Bayandor and other ships and vessels of the Iranian Navy,” the Russian Defense Ministry specified.
